Went back to the park again. Only had about an hour to detect. I thought I would try Bill's pattern for TTF. When I arrived I was talking to my brother on the phone. He wished me luck and said the first good find was his. At about 5" I find a 1951 wheat. So my brother is taken care of. The next good signal screamed. It was close to the surface. Thought it was a quarter. Out pops a silver medallion. It has an Aztec design. Thought it was plate. But it was just tarnish discoloring the back. It is stamped 925 and about the size of a 50 cent piece but thinner. I am loving this park and my Etrac. Sorry my phone doesn't do macro well. Thanks for looking! HH

you seem to be killing it lately, but beware! winter is coming

Congratulations on the silver with the cool Aztec design. Always nice to get a 'Wheat' in the mix too. :icon_thumright:

Congrats on the great finds.

Mike, what a beautiful piece! Congrats. ~Lisa & John

Nice finds, congratulations! :occasion14:

Congrats on your success with the E trac. It sounds you you were stoked when you pulled the medallion.:headbang: Don't-cha just love the buzz you get when you pull a cool find or a keeper.

Beautiful silver pendant! Don't you just love seeing that 925 stamp! :D

Thanks guys! Nothing like the sweet sound silver makes on the Etrac. As was mentioned earlier, winter is weeks or days away. So I have been trying to get out every chance I can get before I have to sit on the sidelines. Makes me wish I lived South of here. But then I look at the mountains and remember why I stay.

Awesome looking piece of silver work there.
