Well, Carolina Beach locals will be happy to hear I've just about cleaned out all of the sharp, deep aluminum cans here.

Nothing here but CLAD, CLAD, CLAD... oh, and bottle tops and pop tabs and sharp aluminum cans! On the beach at least, I haven't hunted the parks yet..
Hunted Kure beach today and there was even less there.
Today's haul was 5 pop tabs, a clad quarter, clad penny and a key.

Gotta say, at least Kure beach is clean of aluminum waste. At Carolina Beach I can't go 10 feet without CLANGING a deep aluminum can or beer bottle top.
At Kure beach I can go 20 yards or more before I get a signal..
