english trade silver?

found what appears to be an English trade silver item. found with a rare cut willow tree shilling. need help on the id on the trade silver.

What does it weigh in grams?
The symbol on the left is that of the United Kingdom; represented by the lion (England) and the unicorn (Scotland).

my scale is out of order. I'm looking for time period on item & what it was use as. was it a form of money since the item is silver.- thanks bob

on top of what looks like hieroglyphics, a monogram AK?
