Pretty dissapointing follow up episode after the first one. The claim of gold jewelry is just silly. A partly gold plated glass broach is not treasure. It is junk.... other then that nothing happened. Ho hum 28 more episodes like this one too look forward to is not going to make good tv. I am interested in Smith cove and the sonic map but assume it will be a whole lot of pretty boring episodes before we see those things..

The sonic map should be interesting. As many holes that have been drilled,not so sure how the mapping will work.

Smiths Cove is very interesting.

They never seem to Finnish anything They start a project then jump to something else.

WTF? GAL 1 they pulled out big hunks of metal! Why have they not explored that hole?

I would guess they did explore and found nothing so never mentioned again.. It is very tedious to see that they had done no research between end of last season and this one on the piece of lead
(or that is at least what they are claiming). Lead can be dated. They have not done that. Which means that they probably did do that but it does not suit their narrative.

The problem for us viewers is they have 2 interesting things to do (sonic map and Smith's cove) but for money they have stretched this out for 30 episodes. So we will have to put up with 25 episodes of boring rubbish to see the interesting 5 episodes.

It is pretty disappointing...

So true bud. A promising Season 6 starter then back to the regular grind.... milk 60 mins out of some costume jewelry. BOO!
I still have a lil hope for the data from the new experiment at the MP.
Smiths Cove might have some nest stuff buried.
Maybe it will be a good episode then fluff n filler. Back n forth... good episode then garbage episode. 30 episodes is a lot for that show.
