Hello

I have been successful in locating a 1700's homestead but its right under power lines
haven't tried it yet,

Any tips settings for searching amongst the iron and combating EMI at the same time

You're most likely going to just try a few things to see what sort of EMI you have. Some can be virtually eliminated by just doing a noise cancel. Some EMI can't be eliminated no matter what you do. Some things that can help....lower your sensitivity, change to a smaller coil, try different modes and recovery speeds, and as a last resort, go to a single frequency instead of multi.
