Here in maine we got winter early and I might not get to swing the nox again until april. With my garretts I clean the machines up and remove batteries and put back in box they came in. With the non removable battery on my 600 whats the best way to store their battery? Run it dead or store charged? Thanks :)

The manual says to fully charge every 3-4 months

Never run battery dead then store it, your battery will not recover

Charge it fully before you store it. Do not store it below the recommended storage temps in the manual and never charge a Lithium cell with the ambient temp at or below 32F as you will likely damage the cell (though it is ok to run/discharge them at lower temps, as low as 14F in the case of Equinox). The reason you remove non-Lithium dry cells is because they can leak acid if they remain unused for extended periods. That is not an issue with Lithium cells. They depend on being stored in a charged state for battery service life longevity.

Yep. Pull it out about every six weeks and give it a charge.

Lithiums liked to be stored at about 40-60% They seem to last the longest at that level
