Does the minelab equinox make a mistake at the salty beach when the coil is protector

Only if you allow back sand to build up under coil cover.

Never had a problem, just now and again, take it off - takes like, 5 seconds? clean it.

Back on.

I clean under my coil cover each time after a hunt, flush the coil , and cover, let dry re apply for the next hunt, also i use Trident diver's silicone spray to keep the coil line's from dry rott , happy hunting , Earl
