Found a 1996P quarter without the reeded edge. My first thought was that it was worn down, however, considering the coin is only 6 years old and there is not even a hint of the reeded edge, I am thinking it was never there. Anyone ever heard of this type of error?
Here are some pictures of the quarter. The first one is the 96P, the second one is a 66 on top of the 96P, to show comparison of possible wear and tear over the years. Still doesn't look normal to me. Check them out and let me know what you guys think
