Estate Sale Vase Find

I got this vase from an estate sale of a collection who had tons of high end collectibles and antiques. Many things were from the 18th, 19th, early 20th centuries. I found this vase to be particularly interesting. Any idea of what country the mark is from and perhaps the maker. Any help is appreciated. Thanks a lot.

Trying to figure this out but what I have so far is possibly WU ZI meaning 1888 something to do with year of the rat"? <-- from bottom character. Line underneath is a 1 (Chinese)
