Etrac and Grey Ghost NDT headphone compatibility issues?

I think their is a headphone compatibility issue with these Grey Ghost NDT headphones and the etrac..

Just bought it used..

These are not the headphones he used with it all the time..
Said he never really tried using these GG headphones but “knows they work”..

They “work”, but I don’t believe correctly..

The knob on the side with the switch and wire (Right) has to be in one of the 2 highest positions for any sound to come out of that side, and the knob on the other side (left) does nothing at all, always full volume on left..

So I have to turn the volume down in the settings on the etrac or they will blow my ears out..

I would much prefer volume up on the machine and turn the headphones down on the headphones..

Anyone know what’s going on here?
