I'm new to the forum but have been detecting since 1984. Used a 6000 di pro for years. Just picked up an AT Pro and am not happywith it. It falses so much that I miss signals. Been thinking about upgrading to an etrec, or v3i as I want depth. Opinions on these machines? I'm from Michigan, 60, but not retired yet.
I mulled over the same choices a while back and chose the E-trac. Nothing against the White's as I've used them for years and have had great success with them but I wanted something a bit different and from the feedback I received, it looked like the E-trac had a smaller learning curve and a bit more user friendly. I have no regrets. The E-trac is working great! Also 60 and retired 5 days ago!
