I with Russia. I to call Rinat. I have bought itself Eureka Gold. Immediately appeared much questions. Prompt functioning(working) the discriminator. As it is correct to put the discriminator. He distinguishes only iron. The Other metals copper, brass, aluminum, lead gives one signal. Prompt why so. I expected that Eureka Gold will give the different signals on metals. Can that not so do with detector.
Else question there is such. Why Eureka Gold, in included condition gives the spurious signals. The Signals low and radio frequency. The Signals disappear only then, when spool ложить to the land.
Say I beginner.

Excuse me bad dialect on english.

Respectfully yours to all Rinat. ???

Hello Rinat,

Welcome to the forum. I will try to answer as I understand it.

The Eureka Gold does not give different tone for different metals, but with practice you can tell the way the sound starts and stops. Large pieces of iron will cause the detector to sound off and on some smaller pieces that have a lot of rust. If I understand you correctly, the sound stops when the coil stops moving. It is best to not use to much discrimination till you learn the detector some more.

Good Luck,
Sandman

Thanks for answer Sandman. Is very glad to get acquainted. On the discriminator I have understood. My detector publishes sounds of high and low frequency. I tried it in an apartment. It gives sounds of low and high loudness. Then tried it in the street, has put the coil on a grass.
Signals of low and high loudness have stopped. Eureka Gold the device appears, was balanced.
Tell it so should work?
At switching Boost the response from the purpose is stronger.
Here my tests.
Copper 10 mm on 7 mm 6.4Khz - 17Centimeters, 20Khz - 15Centimeters, 60Khz -13 Centimeters
Copper 5 mm on 4 mm 6.4Khz - 4 Centimeters, 20Khz - 6 Centimeters, 60Khz – 8 Centimeters
Copper 2 mm on 2 mm 6.4Khz - 1 Centimeters, 20Khz - 2 Centimeters, 60Khz – 4 Centimeters

Signal: Normal
Freguency: 20 or 60 Khz
Select: All Metals
Threshold: Just audible
Sensitivity: Maximum
Volume: Maximum
Balance: Fast Track or Slow Track

Your opinion.

Respectfully yours Rinat.

v russkom yazyke net slova "lojit'" est slovo klast'

Your sounds of "high and low frequency" in the apartment are interference from the other electrical stuff. I call it the "Strangled duck sounds." That is why it stopped when you took it outside on the grass.

It isn't just the interference inside that can mess up the detector, but some radio waves, underground cables and high transmission towers plus some others. Also make sure you aren't wearing steel toed boots when detecting too.

Good Luck and take care,
Sandman
