Went back to the site I last pulled 3 coppers, 1859 IH, V Nickel & 10 buttons out of. Well nabbed 13 more on Sat. I also got 2 buttons from a hunt with Frank. My favorite find is this very delicately designed button, which is the 2nd one I've dug at this site.

As we had a whole week of rain the ground was nice & wet so I regrided the areas I had already gridded but missed all of these. Was using my 10" DD coil to go deeper as I had used my 6x10 coil the past few times.

Looking forward to going back & branching out more at the site.

You're killin' it!

Love the silver plated button with the engraved flower. I have found a number of those on 1790s sites, but never one as nice as yours. Usually the plating is flaking off. Some nice back marks on the flatties too.

Thanks for the info Steve, that's very helpful!
