Even Sand Freezes Hunt.

Howdy Folks. I hit my sand box field hoping I could dig some targets. It too was frozen. I did manage an old worn and bent 1909 Wheat penny for my first find so I was content to know there are more coins to be had. Also found a bent brass flower pendant, head stamp brass, a few what's it brass items, and cleared some more iron from the clear hole. Curious what the nickel plated curved brass thingy is? Also the brass handle looking thing? I scored the old Hong Kong jacket at Goodwill. It worked great on the hunt and has huge pockets for gear. Probably forty years old. LOL! Thanks for stopping by. Ha ha! Yeah, I'd have to say the antique old coat was the best find this weekend. Not bad for $10.00. It has a nylon hood which works great and is hidden in the collar with the quality old brass YKK zippers. These new nylon zippers suck! Love my new old hunting coat. Thanks mate. I have posted the tapered rolled tube in the What is It section. I am wondering if it may be a Native American Tinkle cone? It is rolled and overlapped like one. Different for sure.

Indeed they do. The jacket is fairly well insulted and the huge cargo pockets will hold everything I need and more for hunting. Love to score treasure even at thrift stores. I really love the old quality brass YKK zippers. Smooth as silk to zip up. Nylon zippers always seem to wear out before the item they are installed on. They don't make stuff like they used to that's for sure.
