Evening yard find.....SILVER

[7creeks]

Spend about an hour hunting a yard. Two silvers ....'64 Roise and a '42 war nickel. Matchbox tow truck, some keys, a button and the typical junk. One neat find is a Lum & Abner weather prophet.

Nice finds, silver is always a welcome sight at the bottom of the hole.

A Lum and Abner Weather Prophet, 1.5" tall brass badge with cut-out area at center holding piece litmus paper meant to turn blue in fair weather, pink in rainy weather or purple in cloudy weather from Horlick's Malted Milk, 1936.

Things like that weather device are really exciting to dig. There is always someone on Tnet that can ID those type items.
