I Hope this is our Onion Snow.
Even though it's not Late Spring
& Nobody planted Onions yet :P

For some reason Spring seems to be determined to wait as long as possible to show up this year. We got a few days that were beautiful out....then the last few has been scattered hail showers....what up with that?? Hope it warms up for you soon too!

Here in PA
If we get a Snow in late spring after the Onions have been Planted
it is Referred to as the Onion Snow.

I also use to to Refer to the Last snow of the year as the Onion Snow.

Makes sense now. Hell the ground is still frozen here and we still have snow piles at the end of our driveway.
More rain/snow predicted for the next 2 days here.
No bbq for St. Paddys tomorrow. Crockpot mod.

Onion snow?? Up here in NW PA, we get our annual St. Patrick's Day Snowtorm...without fail. Tomorrow's the big day. We'll probably get at least 3 more feet of snow just to push us over the edge.
