Them damn english sparrows (no offense to any of the British persuasion) from my martin house.

They fight with the martins, peck their eggs, and young. The wife says I need anger management for my sparrow rage.

Out feathered vermin! Out!

I feel better now.

The sparrows also kill the adult martins. Hawks will attack martins as they leave the houses also. To prevent that, there is a martin decoy for sale. I mounts to the top of the house, and the hawks hit it instead of the martins.

Hard to believe sparrows were brought here from Europe, with much fanfare.:BangHead:

we swapped them for the grey squirrels

My RWS pellet gun in .177 caliber would solve that problem. ( model 34)
