If given the choice..... do you prefer the blue excal don't recall the years that model ran
or the newer green excal????I have heard from some people that they prefer the blue
more dependable and a better machine??? any truth to this in your opinion
I am starting to look for a used excal but dont care for the ebay thing

I have the older Blue Excal 1000 and it is a few years old and only had to be sent in once for a leak in the coil.

I wouldn't pay much for the first gen sword/seasearch model but ones after that (blue) seem to be just fine.....I have two of them. I borrowed an Excalibur 2 (green) to try it out before I bought my second one and it didn't seem to be any different in performance than mine so I didn't "upgrade".
