Found the usual musket balls another Jews harp more buttons then out of the plug another British half penny not 75 yards from the last one. I cant make out the date. This one has a dot after the A maybe that can help in dating it? That's just to cool 2 in a week. I will say this machine is sensitive to even the smallest pieces the little thing on the penny gave a good repeatable signal. One thing I don't like are the false signals at the beginning and the end of the iron nulls. I find my self constantly going back to check the false signal. :icon_scratch:
Anyway thanks for looking, HH :icon_thumright:

With luck all I can do is hope. This site has been hit hard so I'm amazed at the finds I have made. HH

the obverse on that one is in pretty decent shape . :icon_thumright: :icon_thumleft: On another oldie ! MaineRelic

your dialed in now........ those iron pops are a bit of a pain but they are almost always the same tone and its more of a rough spike than a smooth signal..

Nice finds .... congrats !

Awesome finds Congratulations

Great job, nice loot with that Excal 2. Best of luck on the beach! :hello2:

Nice finds...congrats.

I have an older Excal 1000 but I've never used it on dry land. Only at the beach. Stick with my DFX on dry land. I may have to take the Excal to some sites I've used the DFX at and see what kind of results I get.

Thanks, I did get it to hunt the water but I figured why not hit the sites that I've done with the MXT.
Well, I like the results so far! The MXT is erratic ton's of iron at these sites. Don't get me wrong I found some amazing things
with it. The excal is like getten back to basics with just tones. Give it a try though your DFX might get lonely. :laughing7:
