Excalibur 3

I am planning to pick up an Excal II as a back up to my very old Xcal.
Before I do is there any plan for Minelab to upgrade to the current edition?

I hesitate to say this, because anything is possible. But this is unlikely. You might want to try the Manticore, or the CTX 3030. I have much more experience with the CTX3030, its a beast on the beach. If you dive dive, deep, you will need the Excalibur. Good luck.
