Excalibur vs. Excalibur II --- the same?

Does anyone have information as to whether or not the older Excalibur is the same as the new Excalibur II? I realize there could be a coil size difference, but I'm wondering if the build quality, technology, etc., are the same. I'm in search of a good beach and salt water machine and am considering one of these models.

Minelab advertised the Excal II as having a more sensitive coil, better battery pak and new hot lime color. I still don't have the new one and have been told it operates the same. Except I have been told the Hot Lime color is a babe magnet. Reason enough to get one.
