Xterra 30, Sov GT
You would be very happy with the Sov GT. It is easy to learn unlike many that find the Explorer hard and heavy to swing.

iv tried many detectors on the beach and none beat the GT & S12 coil! a PI will go deeper but you have little or no discrimination with them and will spend a lot of time digging junk.i dig dimes at 15" with my GT & S12 and thats deep enough for me!

I have received my Sov.GT from gates. First time out I took it to a beach I raked over with my Whites eagle spectrum several times, searched for an hour and a half, found A solid silver penant about 14" deep. I was impressed with the Sov. GT depth and the 15" WOT Looking forward to visiting lots of searched places.

Way to go SS, it will only get better, I would recommend you go back to any sites you hunted with your spectrum and hunt them again.

I bet you didn't have any trouble understanding the tones at all when you found that target. May have been faint but I am willing to bet it was a solid tone.

Good luck and good hunting..........

Very solid tone. TH.
That 15" WOT is not as heavy as the Std. 10 " coil.
