Yeah I got mine a month ago used for $620.00, added a Sunray for another $135.00
That would have been a really good buy.

Yes it does look legitimate. I never looked at his EBay stats but the seller was very knowledgeable . I am just surprised it took 57 minutes to sell. If it was a scam it sure would have hooked me.

It was no scam. The buyer was in the right place at the right time.

I missed it by about 5 minutes I think. But heck, that's okay. I'm glad for him.

It was just a case of a guy who really didn't need the money but just realized detecting isn't his thing. Happens many times every week no doubt.

I did alright myself because I bought a Minelab GT that looks and even smells brand new for $350 postpaid. Heck that's only about $10 more than a new Cibola! It came in the original box and looks almost like it had never even been assembled.

Another guy on that forum sold me a near mint 15" WOT with lower rod for $140 postpaid.

I'm satisfied. BUT, I'm still watching for a giveaway on a II or SE

I got one off of Ebay a while back for $450 with a 8in coil extra. Traded it for a MXT to heavy and slow for me. They were selling cheap when the SE first came out on Ebay.

On the Classified Ads at the forum sites most Explorer II's go for $600 to $650 now. Personally if I paid $600 it would have to be almost mint. I'm looking for a good one in the $500 range. I'm in no hurry though.
