An anybody walk me through the settings for this's home? Would be most grateful !!!

Start out with factory settings, and knock the gain down to 6 or 7 (factory default is 8). Max out the variability, set SENS on 26 Semi-auto. Leave FAST and DEEP off. The stock coin mode will be fine for most beginners to start with.

Now Noise Cancel and start swinging.....SLOWLY! One swipe in one direction should take 4-5sec minimum. Listen to the Threshold tone. If it excessivly nulls, lower the SENS or get a smaller coil.

Here's a link to the first of a seriies of excellent articles that break down each adjustment and what it can do for you. I highly recommend that you read each chapter....they aren't that long. They are written in a way that everything makes sense. Even though they were written for an earlier model, the info is still pertainent to the functions of your machine.
