Hi all,
This past weekend a couple of friends and I headed out to explore this old zinc mine. Although there are not a lot of artifacts left, the mine is quite interesting. As more and more mines are being gated, blasted shut, or foamed shut, we are trying to record them on video so they aren't completely lost to history. The old miners had a really hard life living out in the desert with only the minimum of creature comforts.
