Extended Warranty with your CREDIT CARD PURCHASE

Hi all,

I don't know if this has been mentioned before but....

Many (not all) CREDIT CARDS offer an extended warranty on purchases made with your credit card. Usually 2 years. Obviously you'll need to check your specific card.

Basically, anything you buy, a tv, laptop uh.... a metal detector- with you CC - (with a manufactures warranty) has an extra two years warranty coverage. Of course the item has to have been purchased new. I believe the contracts are underwritten by a separate company.

Anyway, I thought I'd pass that along. Sooner or later you may need a repair.

Works kinda like insurance you get 100,000,00 people paying 1500 per year for insurance only 5 percent make a claim the Ins company workers are in the Grand Cayman Islands 5 times a year with a huge profit same with electronics thousands buy warranties only 5 to 10 make claims Grand Caymans here I come MI the insurance rate is a crime but you gotta pay. I get ! year warranties on any large appliance if any cause thats when most will fail. just my 1/2 cents worth
