Extra 100$ from chase?

I was dumping at a chase bank.. I remember everything I had.. It was 490$ in quarters and dimes.. But the lady gave me 590$ I was in the drive thru, so she didn't count in front of me.. And I didn't open it to count it... Anyways, I'm gonna go back and return it, who knows, maybe ill score some brownie points!!!

I once sold some ike dollars for a few bucks over face 100 for 130 on craigslist. Some guy said he would take them n when me met he said they where 40% silver n he didnt wanna rip me off so he took 30 or 40 and gave me 200$. I told him repeatedly i thought it was only s mint that was silver but he was sure they all were. I was almost sure i was right but i was still fairly new to coins and especially ikes but he seemed so sure so i took the money. I got home looked it up and found out i was right. I called him later that night to tell him they weren't silver he also had looked it up and appreciated i called so the next day he made the original deal of 100 for $130. I was thinking about keeping the money but the guy seemed sincere about not wanting to rip me off so i felt bad about keeping the money. Even though he was an uneducated buyer. And i did tell him they were not silver.

Im not perfect by any means but it does feel good to do the right thing.

Smart move to take it back, that could have cost the teller her job and you a bank to use for a measly 100 bucks. I had a chase teller give me an extra 1 k on a withdrawl once. Noticed it when i picked up halves at a CU and took it right back, now i can dump 8-1k coinlock bags twice a week at that branch, solved my dumping problems

That's good that you did the right thing! ... It kinda makes the day brighter when you do things the right way..
Idk I think I would feel very guilty if I had kept it.. Especially if it meant costing that teller her job.. And who knows, they might save me something nice down the road.. HH

Good thing you returned it, the teller could have been fired. If it was a $1, I probably wouldn't have returned it, but in that amount, I would always come back and returned it.

You shoulda pushed it a bit further, shoulda said from now on, to give you the overages (extra amount of $) at the end of the day. I once knew a tella, and she would give me the extra overages on da days I stopped in. i say this because she is supposed to save you halves in the first place.
