F19

It seems like they made a detector to compete with the camo duck dynasty detector. Why would they make a camo detector? So I look like I am swinging my arm back and forth with nothing in it?

It's too soon to tell, they aren't in stock yet! This isn't Fisher's first camo detector. They had a version of the F75 in camo several years ago.

A lot of relic hunters do not want to be seen by other detectorist who may poach on their site.

F19 is not even remotely another bug and it would just simply be foolhardy to even think so.

Shouldn't be long before we discover if the F19 is nothing more than magic beans or a real improvement over the current line of Fishers.

My vote is for magic beans. But hope and unrealistic expectations will sell

for a while.....

People used bow hunting camo on their detectors in the 1970's to prevent other relic hunters from seeing them. Particularly the large white coils could be seen a quarter a mile away. Where I live almost everyone owns a metal detector or knows someone who owns one because of our civil war history. I painted a Garrett ADS Deepseeker Black before 1980. Hope this helps to understand it has nothing to do with fads.

Okay, it's not a new wonder tecter. It's just another hot new fisher with a different circuit, made for deep relics and crap. The last thing it is is a gold bug. But it costs too much so I'm stuck with atpro for now.

what different circuit?

looks like nothing more than software routines to add the Eurotek beeps....

My vote is magic beans. Nothing more than a gold bug pro with a couple tweaks.

I wonder why they call it a relic machine.
Probably because the gold bug pro with the same coil or the bigger 11 in dd is already one of the best relic detectors but some think it is just for gold.

I see your point. GBP is already one of the best. Okay. Nobody can deny gb or gbp, they are awesome! But remember F19 has little to nothing in common with a gold bug or gbp, circuit wise, I bet the farm on it. But nobody really knows for sure, that's for sure.

The four Dave J. rules of investment are:

1. Don't invest what you can't afford to lose.
2. Buy low and sell high.
3. Have an exit plan when you buy. Otherwise you will not sell high.
4. Don't invest in something you don't understand.

Gleaner, maybe you could scale that bet down to just the corner back 40 acres?

OK I concede, its a souped up gbp. >:(

Never give up!

I think they just want me to pay $800 for the all metal pinpoint function they left off my GBP....

I think their Kellco finds bag and their Garrett shirt would give them away.
