Found this and thought of this site. Did not see it mentioned(searched first) so I decided to share. Long time reader thanks for the great advice. According to the story someone just struck it rich in gold scrap.

i was told when the dumps were open the guy collecting money would point were you could dump and I remember seeing the guy he would rest on an old bed
sum one threw out
when they close all the dumps up here i was told later that before they took his bed he removed the casters on the legs and there was a wad of cash hidden up in one of the legs
