Fairbanks Ice Festival at Fairbanks, Alaska.

There are definitely some "Wows" in these shots.

Amazing, Ray. Mostly up here they use compacted snow which is a little more forgiving and easier to work with, but they do have some ice sculpting going on. I've watched those guys work and it's remarkable what they can come up with.
 
Hello Robert, Yes I imagine the ice would be a little harder to work with but the very cold temps
at least would be in their favor. These were so pretty and skillfully done i wanted to share them.
I have five more that I'll post Sunday evening. Thanks for you reply.
