Today me and my hunting buddy, Swampfox, hit the local fairgrounds. The fair had just ended and we figured we would try to pick up some clad. We did a little better than that. Swampfox got his first merc..well, he got his second too...I wasn't able to find any silver but I did find my oldest coin to date...a 1909 wheat..along with 4 other wheats. I also dug a .22 long rifle bullet....We had a nice hot day as you can see on Swampfox..Well, his pic was from Sunday's hunt..HH all and Good Luck. Sorry I couldn't get a pic of the 2 mercs, but I think he was afraid to let me touch em...lol

I checked an no go on the VDB ....and that is Swampfox..I had to put him in here to get even with him...lol I wasn't showing how I looked..LOL

CD..I think cooler weather is on the way but doesn't look like much rain in the forecast down here either...

Looks like you had a really good day. Great finds!

Great Job! I've noticed that even if you don't know where the rides were, you can figure it out days later by looking for a outline of cigarette butts and smalltrash from the ride/game operators. If you concentrate inside and just outside those areas you will rake it in.

Take a break, drink some sweet tea and get after it.

Go Gamecocks!

Congratulations. Looks like a great day.

Hi SC_Hunter:

Would have sent you a personal email but I am getting ready for work. Was sitting here drinking some coffee and read your post. Now the picture of the fellow is that of your hunting partner? I am very serious about coming down to your area and doing some hunting next summer!

My sister owns a Plantation House in Georgia that she thinks has never been hunted! On the property is an old family cemetery, I think I can hardly wait for next summer! By then I should have learned how to use my machine properly and will be finding silver and gold!!!!!
