Hopefully one of teh coin experts will chime in, but with the lions on the back, and the Norman hairstyle on the front, maybe English?

Its not British & it's meant to look Spanish but I'm not very hopeful on it being the real deal.

I may be wrong, but I seem to have issues with this "coin"
the dots on both side seem odd, out of round following the imagined round edge, look at back, double struck, , looks like the loop id soldered on ( to Gold?
The face?
Maybe costume jewlry?

I have no problem with jewelry being made out of gold thats normal, but that's all it is, a gold pendant in the shape of a fantasy coin.

It is normal for jewelry to be made of gold, but for that to be gold would not be normal... probably plated. It just doesn't make sense to put money into something that is so poorly made. So in other words I agree.
