Wow, what a day! When I came home from Nam, I was discharged at Ft. Ord. I suppose that it was one of the many posts that got the axe a few years back. Looks like you should be going back there again real soon. WTG and HH.

Both my kids were born at the U.S. Army Hospital at Fort Ord, back in the 80's. I bet that place is still strewn with UXO (unexploded ordnance), be careful...

wow my brother went to ARMY training there in the 70's and my dad use to shoot on the army team. wow cool finds, now get out and find more stuff and maybe some gold

Part of Fort Ord is used for office buildings, part is an open space where one can hike around, and part is closed due to military explosives, shells, grenades etc.

Nice bunch of finds. It looks like just the tip of the iceberg. I was at Fort Ord back in 93 (unit armorer training) beautiful area.
