I got me a new permission. 100+ acres of 1850 Apple Orchard.
Been out a few times before the snow fall and after.
Videos soon.
Any help on ID'ing the round Sterling piece would be awesome.
It is amazingly thin like canslaw.
It was also found not far from the broken silverware.
Can't wait till spring. 20191212_141208.webp20191212_141223.webp20191212_141040.webp20191212_141109.webp20191212_141251.webp

Not sure about the band, but I like the partial silversmith made spoon.

Pipe ferrule.

sterling pipe ferrule.webp

Bird tag or collar to a sterling butter knife either way silver is good

Wow I think you might be right. Looks identical to your pic.
You guys are amazing! Not even 10 minutes online. Thx

DC Matt is one of the best in the ID game

I was thinking a fountain style writing pen until I saw the pipe. Yup
good find.

Looks like a silver collar off the bottom of a sharpening steel, 929C810C-560B-4851-ACAD-CE4C9DD71733.webpjust less designed

Could be off a number of handled items

Some research on land deed or surrounding properties may come up with past owner of that spoon. Probably help date it too.
Nice find!

I have one like it somewhere. It's the band from a quill or fountain pen.
