Farmer's market day plan
Linda,the girl next door ,and I had both been tasked to go to the local farmer's market one Saturday.
She caught up with me walking out if the valley leading a cow with one hand and carrying a goose under the other arm.
"Wanna' walk to market together?"I asked.She was carrying a bushel basket and a pitchfork to market to sell.
"No,you might try to take advantage of me!"
"Good Lord ,Linda ! I'm leading a cow with one hand and carrying a live goose under the other arm. How in the world could I try to take advantage of you?"
"Well, she suggested, you could put that goose under this basket,stake a handle to the ground with the pitchfork,and then tie the cow to the pitchfork......."
