What another great day. I took a day off today as it would be the last chance to team up before Cru'dad's week holiday. It was on & off pouring it down with rain but it was :icon_sunny: in my heart.

I had an excellent day with:
My best Elizabeth I Sixpence (1592) ever! ;D
Hammered of Edward I 1279-1307 :)
Very Rare 1653 Peeter Bowes (yes its the right spelling) of Ware (Hertfordshire) - it has no price in the book (meaning the chance of a collector ever getting one in his lifetime is like finding hens teeth!),my secord very rare 17th century token this year.

Cru'dad topped the day off with a Roman silver of Vespasian 75AD. His second off this field & his 3rd this year!

Now I think we may make our difficult targets for the year:
300 roman bronzes, 30 hammered, 10 roman silver.
Currently 150 bronzes, 28 hammered, 3 roman silver

Bring it on........

As always the ground gives up amazing treasures for you! Awesome finds.

did the rain help do you think? and do you have a cover for your detector or do you take cover yourself?

them coins are amazing by the way! how long do you generally look at them before putting them down?

The rain helped a bit, but the ground was already pretty wet. I have a cover, I only take cover when its lightening :D

well I picked this one up to do another photo as the other didn't do it justice. These Lizys are hard to find in this condition.

You get a BIG congratulations on your finds today.

Seems like you're in your element now that the fields are getting plowed.  :o

Any idea what the token is worth?

your finds are just amazing wow.

That stuff is just breathtaking!!!

I'd love to just hold it in my hand and think about how old it is!

outstanding, you never cease to amaze me.

One of these days I want to cross the pond as they say and hunt for some of the things you find...I am going to start saving my nickels and dimes so one day I can do that ....I would be so stoked to be able to find something that is over 300-400 years old...heck I get excited just finding an Indian head penny that is over 100..just imagine finding what you find...you find some very awesome finds...keep hunting and posting...you are an inspiration to all of us...God bless and good hunting...

Who could deserve the great finds more than you. You are out there every day with dedication, rain or shine, snow, sleet, mud, mosquitos, stubble...and thinking about MDing every six seconds! :laughing9:
Your collections must be phenomenal.
Very happy for you!
