I went to my fave field for 3 hours this afternoon, I would have done more but the low battery warning tone started going off on the Xp, and I'd left my spares at home. Never mind, I did quite well today, and there is always tomorrow
. At least the hammereds have started coming in again, and I found my second old key, 13th to 14th century casket key according to the UKDFD. I will post the link when they let me know. I also found a George 5th 1911 farthing with bits removed to make a medallion, a first for me. I can't wait until the field is ploughed, detecting on stubble is a real pain
