Fayetteville NC looking for nectar.

[metaldetkid]

My son and I are looking for someone wanting to go metal detecting in area. Need some spots with history.

Thanks

Start doing your research. It takes time to find spots with history and most people aren't just going to take you to honey holes. I spend more time researching and driving from spot to spot to spot than I do metal detecting each month.

I spend lots of time looking over old maps, reading my NC civil war atlas, googling, etc.

Find the old part of town and start door knocking. All they can say is nope, or sure go ahead. If you ever come to raleigh, I can take you to a few spots. Can't gaurentee you'll find anything, except iron, but at least it produces treasures still to this day for those lucky enough to put their coil over it
