I found this today on the site I've been working on for about 4 weeks.


Federal/Militia riflemen of the 1820's or 1830's. (which is spot on according to the history of this site)
Star count is artistic and not symbolic.
Backmark " Superior/ Rich
One piece - Flat Button

It is a pre Civil War Militia Riflemans button! Very nice find!
