Found this last week in a creek while hunting for anything in N. GA. I have found slag in the creek so I know there has been people there for many yrs. It is some type of stone but as you can see it looks to be a type of mold or some type of grinder but for what is the question. I know allot of you guys and gals know more than me so here it is. Thanks, rock

Looks like an abrading stone. You might post this on the North American Artifacts forum for more opinions.

Thanks but I believe it might be too perfect. The lines are so straight but I have never found one like it before to know for sure. Lets see what other say and then I will consider it. Thanks flinthunter

Well looks like you maybe right due to nobody else even trying to guess on it. Glad I picked it up now. A new add to my collection, thanks rock
