Update on buttons:









So, with just a lil free time, where might I try for something older? The mansion? Nah, I can do that anytime.
The farmer will be putting in crops before too long. So, I'll just stroll around the cornfield.

Didn't care what I found. Just wanted to have a nice walk and have the possibility. Been a long
winter, ya know?

Didn't find much but I don't know when I've enjoyed a walk as much.




These "musket balls", are they modern day, black powder ammo? How can I tell?



That's a piece of porcelain there. Lots of this stuff laying around.




I'd say these satisfy my desire for something old.



I think it says Warranted Treble Plated

then back down to low 30's for highs .
no real sign of spring thaw here.

Nice finds! Glad your ground is diggable! Nice button finds! My grandson would get really excited about the musket balls.
Snow is melting here but ground is still frozen, we get rain Thursday & Friday.
May hit 60 on the rain days!

I made a few parking lot finds but not much else. No robins spotted yet either.

Hold off on the robins! We got 4-5 inches of the solid rain the day after I saw my first robin here!

Whadi, OK, I am impressed with your relics. I have never found a nice flat button. Those .50 caliber musket balls may be old, hard to tell if they have that white patina on them in the photo. None the less, cool finds. I see Blingie and Fishy are still on a diet for a while longer. Maybe if you added another little friend named, "Ann Teek," she would appreciate your field finds? Sub

There is a bit of the white patina on them but not exactly what I was expecting. I have some civil war bullets that are positively white! Guess it has to do with the ground they're coming from.

Blingie & Fishy? They get quite enough thru the year, they can wait. Especially since I made extra keys. LOL

The small piece of ceramic stuff means there's a bunch of stuff nearby,search the woods near there and you'll hit it nicely.You can get in after the crop's in by walking the edge.HH......
