Not sure about the marking on the bottom of this piece. Bill Fenton - Handpainted by J. Cutshaut 1996 #678.

Any ideas?

Was this an aftermarket paint job?

I'll check my hand painted items. Could be an anniversary or QVC piece? I have a Burmese pitcher set signed by Bill Fenton and the artist and I believe it's '96 as well. Give me a day or two :) Have you googled the artist to see if they are associated with Fenton?

I did a very crude google and eBay search, but I'll look a little deeper. Never thought about the QVC connection though, thx.
