. Found a few buttons from the same field last weekend. One of which I think is a cast pewter with a design on the front. Anyone have an idea of the age of that one?
Nice buttons indeed. The cast one is most likely last quarter 18th century locally made. We did that a lot way back when. It dates to the approximate age of the tombac button.
