Looks like a great day to me IP.
What is that relic that looks like a game piece on the far right of the first picture? :icon_scratch:
Doesn't look like to much went into designing that Canadian half penny. ;D
Congrats,
MM

Upper and Lower Canada merged in 1841 to form a single colony called Canada Province, but I've never heard of the Province issuing coins in 1841, if they did.

Just some kinda knob, dug many before, not real interesting.

As for the token it's funny because early Canadian beer bottles have the exact same thing written on them. ;D

Awwwww...son of a...

yeah it could have been better, but it could have been a whole lot worse!

next time we'll hit a big one! or in your case a bigger one!

Fresh holes, huh? I'll be posting my finds later tonight; they were found on the Island if you're wondering. :laughing9: :laughing9:

Yeah, too bad that was the only rarity we seen today. Very uncommon for us and the other guys to cross paths... and it was just this little random field neither side had probably ever been in.

That sucks to see that. We have never crossed paths with other hunters, but we know they were hunting sites near us before. We know this because one of the sites was basically cleaned out. It would have produced a ton of coppers, ranging from the 1700s to early 1800s.

You guys both will find something awesome before the year ends. It is inevitable, IP.

Well I think I'm down to maybe a hunt or two, and Ironhorse maybe 3 or 4. That probably brings us to the second week of Dec. and then it will of course greatly depend on the weather. That said, I think we must be approaching a record for latest into the year without seeing any snow.

So time is really ticking for that keeper!

That 1841 Canadian half penny is about as plane jane as they get :laughing7: Still would be fun to find

What's that big copper on the bottom of your pic? Looks like a big coin :icon_scratch:

Congrat's on the 1/4 pounder, liking the token.
