I was walking in 2 harvested permission fields today; after the rain.
My main focus was on artifacts, but I always watch for other rocks.
I found 3 translucent quartz-type rocks (below tape measurer) and the brown chert pcs shown above the tape. I’m a big fan of the brown, tan, orange chert. I keep nearly every piece I find. The piece directly above the tape had more of a melted appearance than most I find.
