I got out again to my new farm and this field keeps producing. Before I started the dig, the neighbor drove his car down the lane and talked to me for about 15 minutes. He owns the hay field across the street from this farm, so I kindly asked him for permission. He gave the okay. It should hold a site. I will hit it maybe Sunday or during the summer.

To make a long story short, I dug 7 buttons, 2 musketballs, a large half of a crotal bell, and a slug copper. I think it is Colonial copper. That makes 5 coppers, 26 buttons, and other relics found at this site.

Keep the passion high!

Kirk

I could go for a 7 button day right about now.

Looks like that site still needs to be hunted a bit more Kirk. Maybe a big fat silver will show itself next time. Nice finds!

Nice going on the buttons, I'd be happy to get one right about now.

Looks like a faint KG facing left there. Congrats!

Nice finds Kirk. A shame that crotal wasnt intact. Good luck with the hay field site across the street.

nice digs.Must have some good soil at that site seeing that most of your back marks are visible.Like Bill said, that place probably has allot more to offer.

Hit that place hard! ...like everyone else said already;)

Nice warm up now go find us the show stoppers!
