This is yesterdays hunt. It started with Land-Mag & I doing 1 hour 15 minutes during the hottest part of the day. It turn out to be a late Aug Bank-Holiday heat record! I had 10 Roman Coins, in the picture with the Silver sixpence top right. I soon realised that this field had been deep ploughed, which must have been the first time in about 5-6 years! So we finally had a good field to settle down on.
After reporting back to Cru'dad we decided to do the last hour & 15 minutes of sunlight, so as not to over heat. We started the gridding process, as I had just scouted the better area, & ended up with another 13 Coins.8-)

23 Roman Bronze Coins - 2 good Coins, 1 nice Allectus that I need.:icon_thumright:
Blank Silver Sixpence (Counter-stamped)
Small Medieval Buckle
