53 degrees F on President’s Day, in Iowa. I had to take my sore back for field walks. 😊
The photo shows my usual booty: flint flakes.
Lower left(above the “3”) looks a lot like a bird point or a very small preform. I doubt it is one. I normally find “just rocks”, but I have a great tine doing it. Thanks for looking and I hope you have success in your searches.👍🏼

Sometimes I’ll do a project with flakes, like pour them in resin or use them as a substrate for my air plant… now dead even though I followed the instructions… at the very least picking them up means you won’t go out and find them again and again

No point in leaving them. I agree, I won’t find them twice. My granddaughters like to look through them too.👍🏼

I like to pick up most flakes to review the materials later.
