Fields are picked, I'm back in my element......And How!!!!

Took advantage of the perfect weather after work and hit an old homesite in a picked cornfield. Not 10 minutes in a got a toasty Indian, good start. Then a shield nickel, 1868 I think. And the a few minutes late got a hit that I though sounded like anothe Indian, but when I broke open the clod of dirt I saw a tiny silver rim, Holy Crap!!! 1852 seated half dime!!! My first. Oldschool got one last year, and I was jealous, now I can scratch it off my want list. it is holed just like his, and the back is a little rough, but it's mine!!! I was so pumped. I managed a no date shield nickel before dark, and called it a day, but what a day!! HH all. Dan
