For your purposes, I would attach it to your head or top of your mask. The pole is nice but it takes up one of your hands unless you stick it in the sand. I don't think it's a good idea for you to try to manage a detector and a camera and your dive gear all at the same time this early in your career. I've seen one of the knock-off GoPro copies mounted on a mask so it always looked where you did. I'm attaching a news story of us working on the San Miguel de Archangel at Jupiter Inlet, all of the underwater stuff was shot with a GoPro on the stick.

hey cool link!!

LOVE the Sea Hunter 2!!!

I got me one of those - will work for beer?

Dittos: I would do anything to hunt around those old walls and buildings right at the waters edge there at the entrance to St Thomas. I've been there many of times wasn't sure of the laws and didn't want to pizz off the authorities although they seem very nice to everyone. Which island do you live on BVI. I can send you some pics if your nearby at least you could search the areas.

Dennis,

Cool!

that's on my list now!!!

Go-Pros are the best POV cameras, but Tachyon makes good units too. The good thing about the Tachyons is that they don't need another case to make them waterproof, and they are smaller in size than the Go-Pros. Tachyons come with multiple mounts.

No hard feelings I fully understand. Ill send you the pics I'm refering to anyway so you can take a look. I will probably not make there in my lifetime anyway.

BVI I looked at the locations I mentioned on Google earth and they are not visable. I have my sites focused on the Yucatan peninsula due the convenience... family, etc.. but these spots do look like they could produce? I've never even seen a diver in the location just fishing boats. When I get home I'll try and send the exact location and photos.. Meanwhile I'm going to try and fish, lobster and MD from Boca Grande to Tavinier island since I have the next 8 days off WOOHOO!

Think one is the old Garrison house, and one other maybe part of an old fort (but I wont mention the name!)
